Citing a specific version

The paper describes the pipeline, not any particular release. If a result depends on the version of the code that produced it — and for anything touching the noise model it does, see Known issues — record the version alongside the citation. Voltage files written by Efield2Voltage carry it in TVoltage.grandlib_version; every tree also records the software that last wrote it in its modification_software and modification_software_version metadata.

Citing the components

GRANDlib orchestrates external packages that do most of the physics. Work that leans on them should cite them too: ZHAireS [1] or CoREAS [5] for the air-shower simulation, DANTON [8] for \(\nu_\tau\) propagation and TURTLE [7] for topography. The full list is in References.
